Model 107 - Cowbird egg - Visual Spectrum

This is a 3D scan of a Cowbird (Molothrus ater) egg. This egg is a specimen from the UMASS Natural History Collection (ID 240420_3859). UMASS Amherst undergraduate Gary Zheng and former UMASS undergraduate Taylor Morrow and PhD student Josh Medina all scanned the egg using a UV sensitive camera on a turntable using 3D photogrammetry, although this represents the human visual spectrum.
